Since 1999, the Conférence sur l'Apprentissage Automatique (CAP) is the yearly meeting of the French scientific community dedicated to machine learning.

This year a major scientific event for the international machine learning community will take place in France: ICML is hosted in Lille from Monday 6th through Saturday 11th of July 2015. In order to allow everyone to participate to both events with a minimal cost and time involved, it has been decided to host a concentrated version of CAP in Lille on the afternoon of Sunday 5th of July. The program of the afternoon will include plenary talks from distinguished contribution as well as an invited keynote speaker. 

CAP'2015 should as usual be a great opportunity for conviviality and discussions among all the actors of the machine learning community, also open to people willing to discover this field. PhD students are particularly encouraged to attend: CAP is a very good place to receive feedback and constructive criticism on your work, but also a venue to get acquainted with a large panorama of research currently being done in machine learning and to meet new contacts. To that aim, all the contributions will be presented during the late afternoon poster session.
